Volosozhar/Morozov teamed up in 2004. Morozov is the 2000 World Junior Paris Champion (with Aliona Savchenko). He retired from skating in 2002 after battling reocurring injuries but came back to compete with Volosozhar. He broke his ankle in November 2005 in a practice accident, but recovered in time for the Olympic Winter Games. The couple withdrew from the 2006/07 ISU Grand Prix series. Volosozhar suffered from an infection in her leg.
