Kerr/Kerr are brother and sister. They teamed up in 2000. They are the first skaters from Great Britain to medal at an ISU Championship in 15 years when they took the bronze at the 2009 European Championships. Both have been taking jobs as actors and models to finance their skating. John Kerr was a double for the footballer Ally McCoist in a movie and appeared in various TV series. Sinead Kerr has worked as a part-time model for designer Alexander McQueen. Kerr/Kerr moved to the USA for training in 2006. The couple missed the Cup of Russia and British Nationals end of 2010 as Sinead suffered from a dislocated shoulder. Coach Evgeni Platov is a two-time Olympic Ice Dance Champion (1994 and 1998 with Oksana Grishuk).
