Grebenkina/Azrojan are the first skaters from Armenia to medal at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (bronze at the 2005 NHK Trophy). They skated together from 1996 to 1998, representing Russia. After they split up, Azrojan skated with Tiffany Hyden reperesenting Armenia. Grebenkina competed briefly with Vitali Novikov. They teamed up again in 2002. Grebenkina/Azrojan switched coaches in September 2006. Coach Alexander Zhulin is the 2003 World Champion (with Maya Usova). Grebenkina cut her leg with her own blade in a practice accident at the Cup of China 2006. The injury required stitches, but Grebenkina was able to compete. In 2007, Grebenkina played the role of Russian empress Maria Federovna (wife of tsar Alexander III) in Russian TV movie.
